The connectivity with the youth district park was worked through an organizing macro-reading of the green system that fosters the north / south link of the city. Looking for a link from slaughter / creek park to college town. In addition to preserving the continuity of the frank relationship with the river through the towpath.
As a specific link between the city and the river, work was carried out on the development of a connecting figure strategically located in the Parque KDT property. With its double triangle shape, it concentrates the articulation of the project in the Ugarteche channel. The CIUDAD-RIO double tension figure acts as a seam between both properties. Meeting point and viewpoint to the city and the river, from this device we articulate green, social and sports spaces; and we managed to access the property between private sectors avoiding going through it.

Rainwater is managed entirely within the property, maximizing absorbent surfaces on roofs and floors, capturing rainwater from buildings in slowdown tanks that, once filtered, will serve to supply irrigation systems, recirculation of water from ponds and fountains.
As a general premise, the use of native ornamental species is proposed due to their adaptability to the site, their possibility of forming a beneficial habitat for the local fauna, reducing the need for energy and water for their maintenance, generating an environmental and economic benefit.
